US Marijuana Laws
Public support, for the reform of marijuana laws, has grown for decades. Cannabis related issues are polling higher than ever. States across America, have decriminalized possession, allowed for medicinal use. Or they have legalized the sale and possession for recreational use. Now, with marijuana laws changing every year, it can be hard to keep up with them all.

Cannabis Legislation Watch 2014
2014, looks to be another busy year, for marijuana related measures. Already, the District of Columbia City Council, has voted to decriminalize possession of small amounts of pot. In November, Florida voters will decide on whether or not, to legalize the medicinal use of cannabis. While, Georgia and New York state legislatures, are also looking at legalized medicinal use.
Elsewhere, following the lead of Washington and Colorado, Oregon and Alaska are expected to put recreational use, on ballot this fall.
In the United States, over the last decade, public opinion in favor of medicinal use or full legalization, has risen sharply.
According to Gallup, the number of Americans in favor of the full legalization of cannabis, has risen by 22% over the last 8 years.
This trend is projected to continue, though public support may soon peak, as opponents of legalization ramp up counter efforts. This has yet, to be seen.
Marijuana's Federal Schedule I classification, is likely to remain unchanged. This despite, calls from some in congress to re-evaluate the issue...
